Westside Medical Supply is a family owned and operated company that has been providing medical equipment solutions to the Upstate New York region for over 11 years.
The corporate office is a 20,000 square foot facility located at 765 Elmgrove Road in Gates, a suburb just west of Rochester, NY. Ron Nettnin, President and CEO, started Westside in 1999 with his wife Sonia. He has guided the company to becoming one of the leading DME complex rehab equipment providers in the state.

With only one location in the Rochester area, Ron is committed to the western NY area although recent contracts is allowing him to pursue the states needs further. Ron is also an ATP RESNA certified, which is now required by Medicare and other insurance companies in order to provide certain Complex Rehab wheelchairs. His 26 years of experience and hands-on approach with both his customers and his employees makes him one of the leaders in today’s industry.

Ron is very active in day-to-day operations and has added some very key people to assist with the growth of his company. Ron tells everyone that what sets his company apart is his knowledgeable and caring customer service people. “ I have the best of the best in the industry”, Ron explains. His brother Ed does a lot of the high-end power mobility with the assessments and evaluations. Kevin and Eric are two new Outside Sales guys who everyone loves with account building and have picked up very fast in the DME industry. Sonia supports customer service with Melissa and Sara managing the walk in sales. Ron explains that Sara and Melissa are simply the best customer service reps in all of New York State. They are very knowledgeable and factory-trained certified fitters for orthotics and Sara always has a smile. Chuck is a factory-trained Service Rep who is very courteous to the customer and very knowledgeable when working with the service/repair issues. Marisa, who helps with Marketing and wound care/special fittings etc, also handles our education program with the OT’S /PT’S, Case Managers and Social Workers and physician’s. The other Marisa is our consultant with the pediatric market and is pretty well versed on this as she is also a mom to a special needs child, Noah. Our drivers Mike and Ken are the guys who the public see the most and these folks are very educated when delivering the products. They will explain everything about the product and set it up correctly.
